Vision

To establish an integrative culture and promote an environment for holistic development

Mission

To foster strong relations with stakeholders.
To provide students with opportunities to hone valuable skillsets through academic and professional development.
To unite students by cultivating a dynamic and vibrant student life.

Objective

Integral to this is our duty to assimilate and integrate both local and international students into one ASoc fraternity and bridge the gap between the school and its corporate partners in order to preserve and maintain relations between our alumni and our students.

AlumNight is ASoc’s annual alumni networking event that aims to connect current students with our SOA alumni to help them get a better understanding of their potential careers. AlumNight 2019 hosted alumni from various sectors including: Audit, Risk, Banking and Finance, Management Consulting, and the Public Sector.

Special Event

Candidates for the elected Directors of the ASoc Management Committee stand for elections before the student population. Recruitment and selection begins for non-elected Directors and Executives for the next ASoc Management Committee.

Professional Development

ASoc’s annual career networking event hosts a variety of key players from different industries, including professional accounting bodies, the Big 4 accounting firms, MNCs, banks, and consulting firms. Strategically held in the first two weeks of January, companies can reach out to students seeking summer and/or winter internships.

A night for SoA's Seniors to celebrate with their fellow batch mates and faculty before they officially graduate.

ASoc Mentoring Scheme

Special Event

The ASoc Mentoring Scheme seeks to help freshmen adjust to university life and it focuses on three key areas ‒ Academics, Professional Development, and Student Life. With the assistance from ASoc, the mentors will be sharing advice and their university experience to help address any difficulties that their mentees face, while at the same time forging close bonds with one another.
